ReceTT POTENTIAL
Unlocking New Potential for Composite Materials
With clean separation techniques we are able to repurpose composite components at the material level, effectively preserving the embodied energy associated with the complex engineering and manufacturing of these materials. These valuable recycled materials can then be directly repurposed into new products across various composite sectors. By reintegrating these materials into appropriate manufactured composite applications, we create a limit on post-processing, minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and costs associated with bringing the material back to its virgin state.


REDEFINING REPURPOSING
ReceTT's unique ability to repurpose fiberglass at a material level provides us with a significant advantage in our mission for full circularity in the composite world. By maximising our material's lifespan through numerous cycles of repurposing before resorting to energy intensive traditional recycling practices we can reduce energy emissions, enhance the value of our materials, and preserve the embodied energy of manufactured composite products like the recovered fibreglass.

The RecyclableBlade by Siemens Gamesa was the first application of a recyclable resin technology for commercial use. Recognising that the next step in the story was the process of recycling and paving the way for new avenues of circularity, Resolve Composites partnered with Siemens Gamesa for The Second Wind Project, validating two new technologies in a cross-industry project, the first of its kind.
